Job Title: Network Engineer

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
Certifications Preferred: CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, and firewall infrastructure in business-critical production environments.

• Independently troubleshoot and provide technical and developer support via email, chat, and other channels in a 24x7 environment.

• Interface regularly with systems administration or monitoring teams to ensure optimal network performance.

• Maintain and troubleshoot WAN networks with multiple links and ISPs to ensure consistent uptime.

• Respond to all incidents promptly to minimize business impact.

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers and switches from vendors like HP, Juniper, Cisco Nexus.

• Configure and manage firewall devices, including SonicWall, Juniper SRX, PFsense, StrongSwan, and Palo Alto.

• Utilize and manage open-source tools for network monitoring (e.g., LibreNMS, Cacti, RANCID).

• Design and manage LAN/WAN networks for large-scale setups like Media.net.

• Maintain updated network documentation and architecture diagrams.

• Set up and support wireless networks using HP and Aruba wireless solutions.

• Administer and maintain large LAN deployments with over 2000+ endpoints.
