Job Title: L2 Cisco SD-WAN Engineer

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2-level support for Cisco SD-WAN, LAN, WAN, and WLAN technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated high-impact network incidents.
• Implement temporary solutions and workarounds to restore services promptly.
• Coordinate with field engineers for incident resolution and change implementation.
• Conduct post-deployment testing and validation of network changes.
• Escalate unresolved cases to L3 teams or OEMs when needed.
• Perform root cause analysis with detailed improvement recommendations.
• Execute change management activities — planning, implementation, and validation.
• Act as a customer-facing technical point of contact during incidents and changes.
• Assist in deploying new devices.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), LAN/WAN.
• Expertise in Cisco SD-WAN onboarding, templates, centralized/localized policies, OS upgrades.
• Proficiency in routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS.
• Experience with CoS, QoS, VRF, VLANs, VPNs.
• Knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) and Cisco ISE (advantageous).
• Familiarity with SD-WAN advanced policies: application routing, DIA, SIG, load balancing.
• Certifications: CCNA R&S (Mandatory), CCNP R&S (Preferred).
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting/documentation.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Cisco Switching & Wireless, Meraki.
• Security technologies: Palo Alto Firewall, Panorama.
