Required Skills:-

·      Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing & Switching, along with LAN/WAN, VPN, and NAT

·      Hands-on exposure to firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, and Check Point (basic level)

·      Knowledge of firewall rules & policies and IDS/IPS concepts

·      Understanding of VPN technologies, including Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs.

Key Responsibilities:-

·      Monitor network & security alerts using NOC tools (24×7 shift support)

·      Perform L1 troubleshooting for network and firewall incidents

·      Monitor and manage firewalls, VPNs, and security devices

·      Respond to firewall health, network outages, latency, and security alerts

·      Execute basic firewall tasks (rule validation, VPN monitoring as per SOP)

·      Escalate issues to L2/L3 teams with proper documentation

·      Ensure SLA adherence, ticket updates, and shift handovers.
