Profile: L2 Network Engineer – ISP Network Operation

Notice Period: Immediate

Required Skills:-

·       Strong Layer 2 networking knowledge

·       ISP network experience

·       Hands-on with switching devices

·       Familiar with Cisco, Huawei, Nokia, or similar

·        Experience with monitoring & ticketing tools

Key Responsibilities:-

·       Troubleshoot L2 issues: VLAN, STP, ARP, MAC, LACP

·       Knowledge of NAT, Public-to-Private NAT, IPv4 & IPv6 Subnetting

·       Handle escalations from L1 within SLA

·       Configure and maintain access & aggregation switches

·       Work with Ethernet, GPON/FTTH, OLT

·       Perform network changes, maintenance & documentation

·       Coordinate with NOC, field teams & vendors

·       Hands-on with PRTG, MRTG, Observium
