Profile: L1 Network Support Engineer

Key Responsibilites:
· Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS) and core networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, CDP, ARP).
· Good knowledge of LAN, WAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP networks, as well as voice and wireless communications.
· Hands-on experience with routers and switches (Cisco/Juniper), including initiating and tracking RMA cases for hardware failures and break-fix.
· Coordinate and closely support Level 2 engineers in all activities, including escalation of critical issues impacting a large number of users.
· Interact with customers at regular intervals, provide clear communication and reporting, and ensure timely updates on issue status.
· Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly product updates on the portal and take necessary actions to improve overall customer experience.
· Work with onsite field engineers to remotely access, configure, and troubleshoot network devices as required.
· Willingness to work in shifts, travel when required, and consistently commit to PalC standards to maintain high customer satisfaction.
